What Jared’s Drinking:
In case you haven’t noticed it’s summer, and with summer comes my shift from red wine and whiskey to white wine and tequila. I’m like the Madonna of cocktails, constant re-invention in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. Here’s what is tickling my tongue lately:
- 2017 Porta Da Ria, Albarino – Albarino is under the radar for most people, but offers a great summer time crispness. It’s a Portuguese wine varietal that offers citrus and apple.
- 2014 Fratelli Perata Bel’ Bruzzo– Yeah I know I just said no red wine in summer, but this was a special occasion. Meg and I had our 11 year anniversary and enjoyed this 100% Montepulciano wine with our steaks. I maintain that red wine is indoors only in summer months though.

A Netflix account still remains one of the best uses of your money on the internet and July only proves this. In the last two weeks alone they have dropped Stranger Things 3, new Queer Eye and new Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee.
